Graveside service for Nick Brown, 39, of San Angelo, TX will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on July 8, 1981 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Victoria Jean (Ortiz) Karnopp and James Edward Brown and passed away on April 30, 2021 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was a supervisor and of the Catholic faith.

Survivors are:

wife, Lupita of the home;

4 children, Owen Dees of South Carolina, Reyli Brown, Zoe Brown and Nicholas Edward Brown, all of Barling, AR;

parents, Victoria and Steve Karnopp of San Angelo, TX and James and Kim Brown of Van Buren, AR;

sister, Jacqueline Brown of San Angelo, TX;

2 brothers, Dustin Brown of San Angelo, TX and Jayden Brown of Van Buren, AR;

grandmothers, Sandee Farley of Van Buren, AR and Mary Ortiz of San Angelo, TX;

aunt, Leslie Whitehead of Kansas City, KS;

4 uncles, Karl Ortiz of Sallisaw, OK, Patrick Ortiz of Poteau, OK, Shawn Brown of Van Buren, AR and Aaron Farley of Fort Smith, AR;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond Ortiz, Mark Farley and Bobby Brown.

Active pallbearers will James Brown, Shawn Brown, Steve Karnopp, Karl Ortiz, Jr., Dustin Brown and Owen Dees.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
