Funeral Service for Nina Ruth (Looper) Cole, 82 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 27, 1939 in Wister, Oklahoma to Grace (Wann) Looper and Othel Jesse Looper and passed away on January 2, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to J.B. Cole on May 3, 1957 in Akins, Oklahoma. She was a clerk at Farmer’s Cooperative and a member of First Baptist Church of Sallisaw, OK.

Survivors are:

Husband, J.B. of the home;

3 Sisters-in-Law, Ann Looper of Sallisaw, OK, Kay Cole of Sallisaw, OK and Violet Cole of Wichita, KS;

and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Alane Cole; parents, O.J. and Grace Looper; three brothers, Stanley, Charles and Paul Looper; three sisters, Freda Lloyd, Wilma Hall and Joyce Brown; brother-in-law, Rex Lloyd; and one sister-in-law, Modell Looper.

Active Pallbearers will be Kevin Parks, Ethan Gladd, Michael Taylor, Dan Callahan, David Ruark, Steve Sullivan and Michael Shupert.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Iris Evans Sunday School Class, Crazy Quilters, Katy Parks and Irma Ballengee.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
