Nona Lorraine (Stanley) Mcanelly

Celebration of life for Nona Lorraine “No-No” McAnelly, 65 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Maple Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Maple Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on May 19, 1954 in Vallejo, California to Gloria Ann (Scott) Stanley and Joseph Walter Stanley and passed away on August 26, 2019 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. McAnelly was an accomplished nurse for 42 years. She was a warrior, after battling a rare form of breast cancer she won, she suffered sudden cardiac arrest death for 24 minutes and won. She understood that God had a higher purpose for her. In return, she started “Baked Blessings” through Maple Freewill Baptist Church, providing food for the church and community through times of need and times of blessings. She would want everyone to know that “I love you a bushel and a peck.”

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Stacy Mattingly of the home;

4 sisters: Eileen Garcia of Rincon, GA, Donna Bruick and Jack of Ft. Smith, AR, Kim Shea of Seattle, WA and Liz Stanley of Roland, OK;

brother and sister in law: Joseph Walter Stanley, III and Sue of Muldrow, OK;

her best friend and honorary sister: Donna Mason;

tons of “littles,” friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Jimmy Dale Mattingly, 2nd husband, Mac McAnelly, parents: Gloria Stanley and Joseph Walter Stanley and 3 infant children.

Active pallbearers will be Clinton Shown, Chris Bruick, Blake Rainwater, Chris Larcade, Jeremy Lewallen and Cole Colville.

Honorary pallbearers will be The “Littles” and the Deacons of Maple Freewill Baptist Church.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 pm Wednesday and 10 am – 8 pm Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Thursday.
