Norman Stafford Drake

Memorial Service for Norman Stafford Drake, 83, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Church of Christ in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He was born on May 15, 1940 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Daisy Ed (Stevenson) Drake and Seymour Baker Drake and passed away on February 8, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Lynette (Mullins) Slater Drake on June 19, 1980 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a retired Tech Sergeant and an Automotive Technician for the Air National Guard and a member of Sallisaw Church of Christ.

Survivors are wife, Lynette of the home; four daughters, Cheryl Christian and Jerry of Sallisaw, OK, Kelly Miller of Sallisaw, OK, DaLyn Winton and Shawn of Sallisaw, OK and Tana Morgan and Travis of Sallisaw, OK; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Seymour and Daisy Ed Drake; one son, Allen Drake; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and one brother, Seymour Edgar Drake.
