Olen 'Dale' Hill

Funeral Service for Olen “Dale” Hill, 68 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on July 20, 1953 in Van Buren, Arkansas to Frances (Steele) Hill and Olen Hill and passed away on March 12, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Pam (Yancy) Hill on November 4, 1977 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Hill was a retired heat and air repairman. He attended Gans Public School and was a volunteer with the Jaycees for numerous years. He loved hunting, fishing, scuba diving and roosters, but most of all he loved his family.

Survivors are:

Wife of 44 years: Pam of the home;

2 sons: Tony Hill and Erin of Bixby, OK and Shawn Hill and Angela of Sallisaw, OK;

13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren;

1 brother: Bob Hill and Pat of Gans, OK;

Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter: Lori Hill Darcy, 1 sister: Betty Crow and 2 brothers: J.W. and Willis Hill.

Active Pallbearers will be Tony Hill, Shawn Hill, Kalen Hill, Colton Hill, Ron Winans and Chris Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rick Sharp, Steve Reed, Joe Dick and Hobie Jones.

Viewing will be 4 – 8 pm Monday, 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday and 10 am – 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Wednesday.
