Graveside memorial service for Opal Marie (Oliver) Caughman, 81 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

She was born on March 31, 1940 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Irene (Hutchinson) Oliver and John Oliver and passed away on September 3, 2021 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to James Howard Caughman on October 12, 1963 in Stiwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1989. She was the owner and operator of Little Rascals Daycare. She loved going to garage sales, playing bingo, going to the casino and going to the VFW to dance.

Survivors are:

3 daughters: Debbie Prothro and Edd of Broken Arrow, OK, Radonna Caughman and Mike of Sallisaw, OK and Robin Gann and Shawn of Sallisaw, OK;

1 son: Richard Caughman of Sallisaw, OK;

3 brothers: Donnie Oliver of Sallisaw, OK, Thomas Oliver of Sallisaw, OK and Charles Oliver and Margaret of Gore, OK;

several grandchildren and great-grandchildren;

several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Caughman; four sisters, Estell Randolph, Maydell Newton, Oradell Coffey and Addell Long; and three brothers, Johnny Oliver, Jimmy Oliver and Ralph Oliver.
