Services for Opal Shadell Wright, 93 of Muldrow, OK will be at 10:00am on January 16, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, OK under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc..

Mrs. Wright was born on September 16, 1924 in Muldrow, OK to Gussie F. Jackson Shadell and Luther M. Shadell and passed away on January 13, 2018 in her home in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was married to Jim W. Wright on October 31, 1945 in Van Buren, AR. She was Retired from Sears Office in the Retail Department after 38 years and was a member of Trinity United Methodist in Muldrow. Opal enjoyed her family and traveling with her late husband and friends. She loved her home and enjoyed living in the county.

Survivors are:

1 daughter in law: Sally Wright of Mt. Ida, AR

1 grandson: Thomas Scott Wright of Siloam Springs, AR

1 brother and sister in law: Joe and Reba Shadell of Muldrow, OK

2 great grandchildren: Matthew and Mikayla Wright

3 special friends: Theresia, Joyce and Stephanie

several other relatives and friends

She preceded in death by her husband, Jim Willard Wright; 1 son, Thomas Edward Wright; her parents, Gussie F. (Jackson) Shadell and Luther M. Shadell; and 1 sister, Audra Griffin

Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow, OK.

The family will greet 5-7 Monday at the funeral home
