Patricio "Gio" Barranco, age 46, of Gans, Oklahoma, passed away on December 10, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on January 21, 1978, in Alfa Jayucan, Hidalgo, Mexico, he was the beloved son of Avelina Gonzalez Ramirez and Guadalupe Barranco.

Gio was known for his hard work as a chicken catcher and landscaper. He cherished moments spent fishing and playing basketball, particularly with the children, bringing joy and laughter to their lives. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Monica, who shared in his journey of life; three daughters, Rayven Billings of Poteau, OK, Lonna Jones of Gans, OK, and Maria Silos of Gans, OK; and one son, Leland Locust of Gans, OK. Gio was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren, Lonnie Ariana, Angel and Lynna Diaz, and Anna Jones.

In addition to his immediate family, Gio is survived by his mother, Avelina Gonzalez of Hidalgo, Mexico; and seven brothers, Domingo Martinez of Fort Smith, AR, Anastacio Martinez and Florencio Martinez, both of Hidalgo, Mexico, Manuel Martinez of Dermett, AR, Juan Carlos Barranco of Heavener, OK, and Ricardo Barranco and Guillermo Barranco, both of Poteau, OK. He is also survived by two sisters, Maria Barranco of Pennsylvania and Hermelinda Barranco of Hidalgo, Mexico; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Gio was preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Barranco. 

His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and he will be laid to rest at Cementerio La Nopalera in Alfa Jayucan, Hidalgo, Mexico, a final resting place that honors his roots and legacy.
