Patsy Dale Allenbaugh Cotherman
Feb. 7, 1955 – April 8, 2020

Pat was born on February 7, 1955, in Muskogee, OK to Thomas D. Allenbaugh and Dorothy A. (Corley) Allenbaugh. She passed this life April 8, 2020 at her home near Fin and Feather Resort on Lake Tenkiller. She was owner/operator of the Framemaker Art Gallery in Muskogee for many years. Pat was a long time member of the Gore United Methodist Church and was very active in music ministries and church life. She married Willis (Bill) Cotherman January 20, 1996 and in the process became the proud grandmother of 5.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, daughter Lezli and husband Steve Pool, son John and wife Julie Cotherman, grandchildren Zach Pool and wife Megan, Lucy Pool, Eli Pool, Madison Cotherman and Grant Cotherman.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be announced as soon as conditions permit.

Pat loved music, especially voices that were lifted in praise of the Lord. From her formative years at Bishop Kelley in Tulsa, to high school in Gore and in choral groups at Connors State College she honed her skills, and achieved her bachelor of arts degree from Tulsa University. During her many years in Muskogee she was part of the arts community creating high quality custom picture framing and consulting services. Also during this time, she eagerly participated in the annual community choir presentation of The Messiah. It was during these years that Pat established many lasting friendships in the Muskogee area which she very much treasured.

Pat was first and foremost God’s child. There was never a doubt. She did her best to conduct herself in all ways to reflect God’s presence in her life, especially in the face of adversity. She proudly led the choir at Gore United Methodist Church for many years and at the same time served on various church committees. Pat was a Stephen minister, bringing comfort to the grieving.

Pat loved to read, especially a good murder mystery. Of course it had to be a proper hard cover book. She was on the wait-list for her favorite authors to release new novels. She was a good friend to many, a compassionate listener ready to pray with anyone, anywhere, anytime, and most of all a devoted wife and soul mate. She is missed.
