Patsy Ruth (Lynn) Richie was born on February 14, 1940 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Elsie and Bernice Lynn and was greeted by her Lord and Savior on March 30, 2025 with a "Welcome Home my Daughter" at the age of 85. She was married to Jim Richie on August 4, 1956 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Patsy was a member of Eastside Freewill Baptist Church. She was employed by Garrison Furniture in Fort Smith, Arkansas for many years and was the co-owner of J&D's Convenience Store in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She loved serving her customers with a smile, a good laugh and a listening ear. She enjoyed hearing the stories of the day as some might say the good, the bad, and the ugly! She loved going to garage sales, searching for a bargain, and being able to laugh and visit with others, it would just make her day!
Survivors are husband, Jim "Dude" Richie of the home; three daughters, Vickie and Dee Cassady, Barbara and John Trammell, and Teresa and Ray Watts, all of Muldrow, OK; four grandchildren, Mandi and Chris Polecat, Kelsie and Blake Brunk, Hunter Trammell, and Haelee Trammell; eight great-grandchildren, Kalin Hicks, Kassady Hicks, Michael Polecat, Zane Polecat, Kyntli Brunk, Kendrix Brunk, Easton James Teague, and Piper Kinsley Trammell; one brother, Carroll Lynn of Conroe, TX; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and Bernice Lynn; two sisters, Wanda "Lucille" Martin, Belva Roam; and one brother, Sonny Lynn.
Active Pallbearers will be JJ Johnson, Larry Dyer, Mark Goembal, Tyler Sixkiller, Dale Franklin and Gary Whisenant.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Todd Butcher, Bill Westbrook and Jerry Jordan.
The family would like to give a sincere and heart-filled 'Thank You' to Premier Home Health, Elara Caring and Katie Mathews for the loving and compassionate care that was shown to us all.
Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 5 - 7 PM.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma with burial to follow at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
