Paul Mattox

Graveside Service for Paul Mattox, 75, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on April 18, 1949 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Lou Elba (Martin) Mattox and Charles Ernest Mattox and passed away on November 12, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Janice Lee (Robison) Mattox on February 24, 1984. She preceded him in death on July 30, 2023. He graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1967. He worked most of his adult years at Oklahoma Nursing Home Supply as a sales representative. Paul was a sports enthusiast and also enjoyed horse races, and his grandchildren.

Survivors are daughter, Bonnie Stites and Brian of Sallisaw, OK; son, Jeff Mattox and Stacy of Alma, AR; seven grandchildren, Trinity Kaelin and Andrew of Rudy, AR, Halie Bentley and Jacob of Hackett, AR, Robert Shelly and Kaylee of Fort Smith, AR, Natalyn Mattox of Pismo Beach, CA, Donavon Baldridge and Erin of Tahlequah, OK, McKinley West and Landon of Sallisaw, OK and Madison Thomas and Keagan of Sallisaw, OK; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Brent Mattox and Starlett and of Sallisaw, OK; step-mom, Linda Mattox and Garrett Haiflich of Sallisaw, OK; and many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice (Robison) Mattox; and his parents.

Active Pallbearers will be Brian Stites, Donovan Baldridge, Keagan Thomas, Landon West, Andrew Kaelin and Jeff Mattox. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Warren, Garrett Haiflich and Mike Fine. 

Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
