Paulette Smeaton was born on January 1, 1944 in Flint, Michigan to Elizabeth (Leiber) LaBean and Joseph LaBean and passed away on February 28, 2018 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma. She was married to James Smeaton, Sr. on October 13, 1962 in Michigan.

Survivors are:

2 daughters: Kim Keesey and Mickey Moore of Webbers Falls, OK and Patty Boren and Travis Brock of McLoud , OK

1 son: James Smeaton and Margaret Shaw of Webbers Falls, OK

Grandchldren: Cassie and Chris Tilley of Porum, OK, Jessie and Jimmy Barnes of Porum, OK, Katie Shanks and Dilan Spotts of Muskogee, OK, Garrett Boren of Moore, OK, and Shelby Boren of McLoud, OK

6 great grandchildren: Lane, Kevin, David Joe, Jamie, Elaina, and Jasmin

3 sisters: Loretta Fall of Michigan, Della French and Chuck of Nevada, and Pricilla Jakubczak and Ron of Michigan

4 brothers: Fred LaBean and Jean of Michigan, Joseph LaBean and Nancy of Michigan, Ed LaBean and Colleen of Michigan, Albert LaBean and Joyce of Oklahoma City, OK

numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth LaBean; son in law, David Shanks; sister and brother n law: Elizabeth and Richard Stubbs; and brother in law, Harry Fall.

Her family was her “Everything”. She was selfless and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her family. Her kids and grandkids meant everything to her.

She was a loving, caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed
