Graveside Service for Pauline (Smith) Forbus, 85 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Barnoskie Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on May 30, 1936 in Evening Shade, Oklahoma to Ollie (Barnoskie) Smith and O.J. Smith and passed away on January 15, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

Survivors are:

3 sons, Daniel Smith, Ferlin Smith and Ben Forbus, all of Sallisaw, OK;

daughter, Lena Samuels of Orlando, FL;

2 grandchildren, Lance Smith of Aberdeen, S.D. and Vicki Petty of Gore, OK;

1 great-grandchild, Mercury Zephier Smith;

several other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Glen Forbus, Barney Wesley Smith and Frederick Forbus; her parents; sister, Christine Spencer; two brothers, Johnson Drywater and Johnny Lee Smith; and one great-granddaughter, Guinever Littledeer Sanders.

Viewing will be noon – 8 pm Friday, 10 am – 6 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
