Services for Pearlie Mae Powell, 98, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June12, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on May 4, 1921 in Gans, Oklahoma to Carrie (Russell) Stimson and George Stimson and passed away on June 7, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  She was married to Elmo Powell on December 11, 1937 in Gans, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors are:

3 daughters: Virginia Smith of Sallisaw, OK, Dorothy Glasco of Shafter, CA and Judy Griffith of Sallisaw, OK;

1 son: Wayne Powell and wife, Kathy, of Muldrow, OK;

16 grandchildren;

42 great grandchildren;

62 great great grandchildren;

3 great great great grandchildren;

1 sister: Myrtle Blackwell of Locust Grove, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Orbra Stimson, Fred Stimson, Rena Stimson, Phoebe Moon and Francis Stimson, and 1 great grandchild: Jimmy Glasco, Jr.

Pallbearers will be her Grandsons.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Monday and 10 AM – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM Tuesday.
