Graveside service for Philip Houston, 65 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mr. Houston was born on September 8, 1954 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Audrey Ozell (Dean) Houston and Haskell Houston and passed away on April 20, 2020 in Vian, Oklahoma. He was married to Loann Reed Houston on November 21, 1975 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Houston was a retired sheet rock finisher and a member of Vian Trinity Free Holiness Church.

Survivors are:

wife: Loann of the home;

1 daughter: Ozell Stowe and Jerry of Gore, OK;

3 sons: Samuel Houston and Kristy of Vian, OK, Ben Houston and Farion of Sallisaw, OK and Rueben Houston and Katie of Vian, OK;

13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren;

3 brothers: W.L. Houston of Waurika, OK, David Houston of Ada, OK and Daniel Houston of Waurika, OK;

several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister and brother in law: Janice and Charles Tapp.

Active Pallbearers will be Isaac Houston, Jonathan Houston, Brent Stowe, Matthew Vickers, Samuel Houston and Walter Morgan.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Willard Houston, Haskell Houston and David Houston .

Viewing will be Noon – 4 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
