Ralph “Carl” Edwards was born on February 11, 1958 at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma to Lula Mae (Standefer) Scott and Ralph Arthur Edwards and passed away on December 22, 2020 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Mary Ann (Peters) Edwards on December 25, 1977. Carl was a retired Resident Engineer for Oklahoma Department of Transportation Division 1 Sallisaw Residency and was of the Baptist Faith. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, horseback riding, all sports and anything involving family and friends.

Survivors are:

wife: Mary Ann of Sallisaw, OK;

2 sons: Casey Edwards of Tahlequah, OK and Abe Locust and Shlaine of Sallisaw, OK;

7 grandchildren: Bo, Avery, Sarah, Aaron, Dustie, Tramen and Daisy;

mother: Lula Mae Scott of Roland, OK;

sister: Kelly Elkins and Tim of Roland, OK;

special family: Betty Edwards, Leland, Angie, Keith and Latesha;

other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Edwards; brother, Kent Edwards; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Helen Peters; and special friends, Eugene Renfro and Bobby and Porter Edwards.

Viewing will be 5 – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
