Ray Lynn McCoy

Funeral Service for Ray Lynn McCoy, 75 of Gore, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at McCoy Evening Shade Cemetery in Evening Shade community, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 5, 1949 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Jessie Marie (Plum) McCoy and Stand Waite McCoy and passed away on November 28, 2024 in Gore, Oklahoma. He was married to Tracy Ann (Kuykendll) McCoy on June 8, 2006 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mr. McCoy was a U.S. Army Veteran and a carpenter. In his younger years, he was a pastor and evangelist in Atoka, Oklahoma for nine years, winning many souls for Christ. He also enjoyed riding horses and team roping at rodeos, but especially loved spending time with his children. 

Survivors are wife, Tracy Ann McCoy of the home; his children, Macey McCoy of the home, Colton McCoy of the home, Christopher Lynn McCoy and Robin of Fitzhugh, OK, Taylor Lorenz of Tulsa, OK, Karen Beach of Roff, OK, Tracey Stephens and Randy of Ada, OK and Larry Beach and Becky of Tupelo, OK; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gladys Winsel of Vian, OK, Dorothy McMahan of Vian, OK and Loise Hart and Carroll of Vian, OK; two brothers, Don McCoy of Vian, OK and Larry McCoy and Polly of Beggs, OK; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Betty Lou Brown, Alice Scoggins and Christine Miska; three brothers, Elight McCoy, Alex McCoy and Norman McCoy; one grandson, Hunter Stephens; and his former wife, Linda Sue McCoy.

Active Pallbearers will be Phillip McCoy, Rayce Stephens, Willie McGowan, Kix Stephens, Ty McCoy, Justin Swallow and Michael Hart. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Swallow, Jacob Beach, Joshua Beach and James Beach. 

Viewing will be noon - 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
