Services for Rayburn Leroy “Pee Wee” Curry, 70 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10 am on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on February 14, 1948 in to Ida P. (Long) Curry and John Raymond Curry and passed away on October 14, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Dorothy Mae (Sizemore) Curry on November 2, 1973 in Paris, Texas. He was a former truck driver and worked for Kerr McGee, U.S. Army Veteran, Vietnam Veteran, and Bronze Star recipient. He was known by his friends and family as Pee Wee and to his grandchildren and great grandchildren as “Durn-Durn”.

son and daughter in law: Dewayne and Lesia Walters of Sallisaw, OK

3 grandchildren: Dustin and Gail Walters of Sallisaw, OK, Jeremy and Michelle Walters of Sallisaw, OK,
and Ashley Jiles of Sallisaw, OK

5 great grandchildren: Rylan Walters, Drake Walters, Kaylee Walters, Hunter Walters, and Jackson Jiles

3 sisters: Maggie Lockhart, Ethel McClure, and Florence Thomas, all of Sallisaw, OK

2 brothers: Jimmy Curry of Sallisaw, OK and Roy Curry of Yukon, OK

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ida Curry; 2 brothers, Thomas and Raymond Curry; and sister, Eva Jean Lowe

Active Pallbearers will be Dewayne Walters, Dustin Walters, Jeremy Walters, Dennis Thomas, Donnie Sizemore, and Ron Lockhart.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rylan, Kaylee, Hunter, Jackson, and Drake.

Viewing will be Tuesday 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
