Raymond Lee Davis

Funeral service for Raymond Lee “Red” Davis, 93 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Blackgum Baptist Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on October 10, 1926 in Blackgum community, Oklahoma to Lula Ann (McFarland) Davis and Charlie Davis and passed away on November 27, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was married to Venita Davis on January 5, 1995 in Kelso, Washington. She preceded him in death on June 30, 2001. Mr. Davis was a retired construction foreman, carpenter and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors are:

2 sons: Ronnie Davis and Louise of Proctor, OK and Larry Gouker of Clovis, NM;

2 step-daughters: Barbara Stewart of Muskogee, OK and Debbie Mitchamore of Sealy, TX;

1 step-son: William Brocker of Gore, OK;

7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren;

1 sister: Mary Collins of Blackgum, OK;

numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 1 son: Clarence Gouker and 16 brothers and sisters.

Active pallbearers will be John Baurer, Michael Wolfe, Ryan Davis, Rudy Collins.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
