Regina (Denny) Ogdon

Funeral Service for Regina Ogdon, 73 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on October 25, 1948 in Nicut community, Oklahoma to Lucille (Flanagan) Denny and Virgil Denny and passed away on January 27, 2022 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Regina was a 1966 graduate of Muldrow High School. She met the love of her life, Edwin at church when he was in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Chaffee. They were married on November 3, 1966 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow and began their life together. Two years later, they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Regina loved shopping, of course, but she also enjoyed fishing and camping with her family. She always had an eye for decorating and that showed through in her career as an interior decorator and Director of Home Interiors and Gifts. Regina loved her church, First Assembly of God Church where she was an active member in every facet, including being a part of the team of cooks that provided meals for church functions. Above all, she was a wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and her Lord and Savior.

Survivors are:

Husband, Edwin of the home;

Daughter and Son-in-law, Shannon and Brad Hale of Van Buren, AR;

Grandchild, Brock Ayres of Muldrow, OK;

Great-grandchild, Bradley Snyder of Mulberry, AR;

4 Sisters, Carol Mowrey and Tom of Cedarville, AR, Sandra Stamps and Ted of Muldrow, OK, Martha Adams of Muldrow, OK and Judy Denny of Fort Smith, AR;

Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Joan Mowdy and Marsha Denny and 2 brothers, Harold Ray and Phillip Denny.

Active Pallbearers will be Dennis Johnson, Roger Vaughn, Colby Wilson, David Howell, Kendall Howell and Jesse James.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Monday at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
