Funeral Service for Richard Lee Woodward, 74, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on July 28, 1946 in Long, Oklahoma to Ruth Katherine (Wilson) Woodward and Wayne Willard Woodward and passed away on May 11, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Kay (Prewett) Woodward on August 13, 1971 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Richard was a veteran of the United States Army and worked in maintenance and construction. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors are:

wife: Kay of the home;

2 daughters: Tammy Clymer and Tom of Tenkiller Lake, OK and Janie Gatzman and Michael of Collinsville, OK;

1 son: Jim Woodward and JoAnn of Muldrow, OK;

6 grandchildren: Michelle Sanor, James Lee McAlister, Chris Harvell, Missy Leming, Anthony Woodward and Preston Woodward;

8 great-grandchildren: Braden, Teagan, Reece, Jaxon, Bailey, Luke, Beau and Taylor;

1 sister: Phyllis Stockton of Guthrie, OK;

1 brother: Jerrell Woodward of Muskogee, OK;

numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Active Pallbearers will be Chris Harvell, Preston Woodward, Anthony Woodward, Joey Morgan, Nick Fackler and Cody Honeycutt.

Honorary Pallbearers will be James McAlister, Willy Morgan, Cody Taylor and Thomas Muskrat.

Viewing and Visitation 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
