Funeral service for Ricky Sanders, 61 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Dwight Mission Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 31, 1958 in Dumas, Texas to Helen (Mendez) Sanders and John Brown Sanders and passed away on February 24, 2020 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Sanders was a former horse trainer.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Rikki Jo Sanders of Pryor, OK;

3 grandchildren: Jordan McGowan and husband Caleb, Derek Smith and Emily Smith;

3 great grandchildren: Presley and Hazelyn McGowan and Kimberleigh Smith;

3 sisters: Linda Sizemore of Sallisaw, OK, Takie Brooks of Sallisaw, OK and Kathy James of Vian, OK;

1 brother: John Bill Sanders of Sallisaw, OK;

several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister: Peggy Crawford and 1 niece: Tammy Sizemore Vinson

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
