Services for Robert Earl Davis, 76 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10 am on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on December 19, 1941 in Kamay, Texas to Katherine (Todd) Jarvis and G.E. Jarvis and passed away on July 28, 2018 in Vian, Oklahoma. He was married to Shirlean (McNutt) Davis on August 31, 1981 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a heavy equipment operator and fishing guide.
Survivors are:
Wife: Shirlean of the home
1 daughter: Cindy Davis of Wichita Falls, TX
4 stepsons: Larry McWhorter, Jerry McWhorter, Flint McWhorter, and Bobby Glen McWhorter all of Wichita Falls, TX
17 grandchildren and great grandchildren
1 step brother: Wayne Jarvis of Andrews, TX
2 sisters: Carolyn Bowman and Barbara Davis
He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Kathy Davis; great granddaughter, Stacy McWhorter; and his parents, G.E. and Katherine Jarvis
Viewing will be Tuesday 10 am – 8 pm and Wednesday 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet Wednesday from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
Active Pallbearers are Wayne Jarvis, Cody Tally, Doug White, Mike Martin, Taylor White and Flint McWhorter.
