Robert 'Robbie' Ray King

Funeral Service for Robert Ray “Robbie” King, 69, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 29, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Gore, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery in Gum Springs, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Robbie King was born on July 31, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Beverly (Martin) King and Charles King and passed away on April 22, 2022 in Vian, Oklahoma. He married Carlesa (Sadler) King on January 19, 1988 in Miami, Oklahoma. He was an avid outdoorsmen with many skills. From being a member of a Mason Lodge, to a mechanic, to training horses for over twenty years. As time passed, Robbie would then teach his children and grandchildren many of his skills. Such as riding horses, four wheelers, and shooting his most prized possessions, his guns. While also providing them with the best barbecue on this side of town, as he would say. Robbie experienced every hunting trip with his family, while also being present during their most precious moments. He was known to never take a day off, as he was still a rancher up until his final moments.

Survivors are:

wife, Carlesa of the home;

3 daughters, Tiffany King of Sulpher, OK, Amanda Hamilton and Jeremiah of Oktaha, OK and Ashley Yuras and Bryan of Tulsa, OK;

10 grandchildren, Josh Davis, Hunter Fairbanks, Destiny Harris and Ben, Micaila Leader, Gabriel Hamilton, Dallas Hamilton, Raven Hamilton, Calysee Yuras, Easton Yuras and Kingston Yuras;

2 great-grandsons, Benjamin Harris and Colt Ryder Davis;

1 sister, Lisa Cox of Oklahoma City, OK;

2 brothers, Chuck King of Van Buren, AR and Kelly King of Sallisaw, OK;

and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Active Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Hamilton, Bryan Yuras, Ben Harris, Gabriel Hamilton, Dallas Hamilton and Jim Risley.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 5 – 7 PM.
