Funeral Service for Robert White, 60 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will be at noon at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 30, 1962 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Verna Mae (Summerhill) White and George Robert White and passed away on September 24, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Christine (Morrow) White on November 6, 1981 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Robert joined the U.S. Army in December 1985. He served two tours in Korea, a tour in Iraq and a tour in Germany, plus different tours in the U.S.A. before retiring in December 2005. He was currently employed by Hilldale Public Schools in the I.T. Department.

Survivors are wife, Christine of the home; son, Austin White of Dallas, TX; four brothers, Randy White and Kathy of McAlester, OK, Larry White and Amy of Coweta, OK, Doug Morrow and Tracey of Vian, OK and Keith Morrow of Garland, TX; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several other loved ones.

Active Pallbearers will be Randy White, Larry White, Doug Morrow, Keith Morrow, Matthew Morrow and Earl Jenkins.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
