Robert Leslie Young was born on December 13, 1988 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Gary and Dorothy Young. He passed from this life on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Robert was an avid fisherman and hunter. Depending on the time of year, you would know where to find him. He usually fished for bait fish at his parents' watershed then placed the bait on his trotlines in the Arkansas River. October 1st was the call of bow season and he would be in his tree stand waiting for the perfect buck.
He was a pester bug to his sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Robert's greatest joy was the birth of his son, Easton Young. He enjoyed teaching his son how to fish, play ball, and shoot his bb gun. They enjoyed riding four wheelers through the pasture helping Grandpa Gary count and feed the cows.
Robert's love for his mother and father was immeasurable. He and his mom would sit in the evenings enjoying watching his son play. They would all go on evening rides through the game refuge enjoying the wildlife. He loved his sisters dearly as they enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes, dominoes, and working puzzles. Even as one ages he thought the world of his nieces and nephews, Weston, Emerald, Matthew, and Kennadi.
We all loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed.
