Roberta May (Murray) Webb

Funeral Service for Roberta May (Murray) Webb, 90, formerly of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Roberta May Murray was born on October 2, 1930, in Mulberry, Kansas, the second of eight children in a wonderfully close family. God, family, music, hard work, and hospitality were values that defined the woman she became.

Roberta married Ernest Webb in 1952, and they had four children. Roberta and Ernest moved from Kansas to California in 1962, where they remained until Roberta’s retirement as an assistant vice president with Security Pacific Bank in 1985. After retirement, they moved to Sallisaw, OK. Roberta remained in Sallisaw until the passing of Ernest in 2004, then moved back to California, and finally to Boise, ID in 2019.

The Webb home was always open. Family – and friends who became family – were over continuously. Her warmth and compassion flowed naturally from devotion to Christ, and her many nieces and nephews considered her to be a second mom. Food, laughter, and music were always available.

Roberta was preceded in death by her husband Ernest, son Joe, and siblings Bill Murray, Doris Gardner, and Barbara Rushing. Roberta’s sister Rosella Webb was also welcomed into heaven only a few hours after Roberta.

Roberta is survived by children Lea (Webb) and Jeffrey Bryson of Boise, ID; Darrell and Stefanie Webb of Duncan, OK; Karen (Webb) and Phil Shackleton of Meridian, ID; and daughter-in-law Cindi Webb of Meridian, ID. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Nick and wife Jody, Dan and wife Stephanie, Heather, Travis and wife Evelyn, Greg, Sarah, Renee, Kira and husband Anthony, Austin, and Elyse, and great-grandchildren Avery, Andrew, Sophie, Ella, Liliana, Andy, and Gabriel. Roberta is also survived by three siblings: Glenna Edwards of Oklahoma, Ellen and husband Gary Hagemeyer of Utah, and Wamie Taylor of California.

Active Pallbearers will be Elyse Shackleton, Greg Webb, Travis McCoy, Michael Kibbe, Shawn Gann and Douglas Gann.

Visitation will be 10 AM – 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK .
