He was born on December 12, 1936 in Bridgeport, Illinois to Anna (Thompson) Crawford and Merle Crawford and passed away on October 12, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Phyllis Gean (Dotson) Crawford on April 15, 1959 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was a Kiln operator.
