Services for Ron Scott, 80 of Sallisaw, OK will be at 2:00pm on January 17, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, OK. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, OK under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Ron was born on January 25, 1937 in Brent Community, OK to Owen Woodrow Scott and Hazel Laura Mae Hollis Scott and passed away on January 15, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Sarah Luola “Lou” (Hutchins) Scott on October 22, 1960 in Long Beach, CA. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, retired from Borg Warner as a Quality Control Analyst, and a member of Church of Christ in Sallisaw.

3 daughters and sons in law: Rhonda and Johnny Capps of Sallisaw, OK, Donna and Mike Adams of Sallisaw, OK, and Dana and Ken Tackett of Sallisaw, OK

10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren

1 sister: Jerri Weaver of Sallisaw, OK

1 brother: Harold Scott of Redland, OK

several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 baby sister, and brother in law: Jack Weaver

Active Pallbearers will be Travis Adams, Kolby Tackett, Kenny Wilson, Kyle McInerney, Chase Rice, Christian Sizemore and Jeff Walker.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Doy Wilkins, Don Garrett, Cana Hall, Jimmy Dodson, Richard Ramm, Larry Gragg, Mike Adams, Johnny Capps, Ben Garrett, Luc Garrett and Ross Hunter.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel. The family will greet from 6 – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel – Sallisaw, OK.
