Funeral service for Ronald “Bird” Lewis, 73, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on March 15, 1946 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Ruby Jewel (Singleton) Lewis and Ted Roosevelt Lewis and passed away on October 15, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He formerly worked in heat and air, he detailed cars, was a factory worker and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Rhonda Michelle Merrill of Sallisaw, OK;

2 grandchildren: Madisyn Blayke Merrill of Sallisaw, OK and Theron Crawford Merrill of Tahlequah, OK;

1 great granddaughter on the way: Ivy Michelle Merrill;

3 sisters: Judy Bowman of Winganon, OK, Linda Lewis of Gans, OK and Faye Smith of Spiro, OK;

6 brothers: Jimmy Lewis of Little Rock, AR, Tommy Lewis of Sallisaw, OK, Donnie Lewis of Muldrow, OK, Lloyd Lewis of Muldrow, OK, Eddie Lewis of Hackett, AR and Robert “Cotton” Lewis of Muldrow, OK;

numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Dianna Lewis and 1 brother, Jack Lewis.

Pallbearers will be his Nephews.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma where the family will greet 5 – 7 PM.
