Rosita Melinda (Marr) Lewis

Memorial Service for Rosita Melinda Lewis will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at First Church of the Nazarene in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Rosita Melinda Lewis was born on November 28th, 1970, to Mary Hankins and Ronnie Marr, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She passed at the age of 52 on October 28th, 2023 with her husband and many other family members by her side.

Rosita was self-motivated and determined. At a young age, she had a passion for caring for others which led to pursuing and obtaining her Licensed Practical Nursing certification. She continued her career in a variety of health-related positions. She touched the hearts of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. The role she cherished the most was being a mother and grandmother to her five children and three grandchildren. The little things in life brought her joy such as cooking, baking, watching movies, listening to Nina Simone and most of all laughing!

She and her husband, Brad, resided in Arkoma, Oklahoma with her youngest son, Jovon, and their three dogs; Oreo, Digger, and Daisy. They recently celebrated their union on February 24th, 2023. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Left to cherish her sweet memories are her husband, Brad Lewis; her father, Ronnie L. Marr and wife (Mildred); Mother, Mary L. Hankins and husband (Archie); her children, Dilhia L. Johnson and husband (Jerrold), Jordin B. Ogdon and husband (Nick), Mary Jo R. Hood and wife (Jennifer), Eithan B. Hood, and Jovon E. Hood; her siblings, Ronnie L. Marr Jr. and wife (Renee) and Crystal Boatner; her three grandchildren, Noverra Johnson, Noelani Johnson, and Rowdy Ogdon; her aunts and uncles, George Marr and wife (Shana), Don Marr and wife (Diane), Victor Gonzalez and wife (JJ), Ruben Gonzalez (preceded in death) and wife (Rosa), and Lois Apodaca (preceded in death).
