Ruth Ann (Wunder) Williams

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ruth Ann Williams, who left us on June 13, 2023 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was a cherished presence in our lives and touched the hearts of all who knew her. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the incredible woman she was and the profound impact she had on our lives. Ruth was born on January 20, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa to Alice Reed and Lloyd Wunder of Dysart, Iowa. She married David Carl Williams on September 3, 1972, in Wetumka, Oklahoma. They were married 43 years.

Ruth is survived by her twin sons, Troy and his wife Tracy Williams of Cave Springs, Arkansas, and Travis and his wife Renae Williams of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; two brothers Gene Wunder and Earl Wunder; sister-in-law Wanda Kay and her husband Gene Heatcott; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband David Carl Williams, 69, her son, David Blake Williams, 33 her brother Raymond Wunder, 81, and her parents. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held graveside at Ludlow, Cemetery, on June 19th 2023 at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Saturday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
