Services for Sam Ed “Babe” Bush, Jr., 61 of Marble City, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Calvary Temple Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Bush Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on October 12, 1957 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Berniece (Choate) Bush and Sam Ed Bush, Sr. and passed away on July 28, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Linda (McClure) Bush on November 9, 1995 in Miami, Oklahoma. Mr. Bush was a retired railroad engineer and housing counselor for Cherokee Nation Housing and Rehab and of the free holiness faith

Survivors are:

wife: Linda of the home;

1 daughter: Krista Tatum of Sallisaw, OK;

1 son: Dylan Hart of Maple comm., OK;

8 grandchildren: Harold, Samuel, Reese, Mayhala, Gabriel, Kristalina, Rainy and Rylan;

1 sister: Myra Robertson of Marble City, OK;

1 brother: Eric Bush of Cordova, TN;

nephews: Brent Smith of Marble City, OK and Kirk Norrid of Westville, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his daughter: Christie Galene Bush, his parents, 1 sister: Doris Bishop and 1 brother: Jimmy Sam Bush

Active pallbearers will be Hayden Smith, Cory Smith, Justin Smith, Jerry Christie, Larry Lockhart and Wayne Graham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Watie Choate, Mack Cupp, Randy Jackson and Darrell Rogers.

Viewing will be 3 – 8 pm Monday and 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Tuesday.
