She was born on January 3, 1948 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Wilma (Webb) Coppin and Billy Leon Coppin and passed away on August 3, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Ezra Jones on January 1, 1965 in McClain, Oklahoma. Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Warner High School, a homemaker and worked at Connors State College until retiring. Her favorite hobby was quilting. If you went looking for her, you could always find her in her sewing room. She loved to cook and no one left her house hungry if she could help it. She made the best pies and pie crust around. Her heart also was her hummingbirds that were always swarming around her feeders. She loved fishing, camping and hunting. She loved the trip to Alaska where she ventured to kill a bear. Although she never found one, she enjoyed the train ride and the Alaska scenery. She loved to garden and grow strawberries and blackberries. She never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation for hours. Her infectious laughter could be heard over a crowd of people and will be missed by so many.
