Sharon Kay (Laster) Sampson

Memorial Service for Sharon Kay Sampson, 74, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at The BOD Church in Roland, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Sharon Kay Sampson was born on March 25, 1947, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Marie (Shackelford) Laster and Fred Milton “Buck” Laster of Muldrow. She was married to Dean Sampson on February 12, 1972, in Panama, Oklahoma. Sharon Kay called Dean “my love, my life” for 49 years. Sharon Kay was a loving mother to Kendall Sampson, “my baby boy” and a devoted grandmother to Kyle Hunter Sampson, “my pride and joy”! Sharon Kay always had infectious smiles and incredible hugs ready to share with her family and friends. She was an Administrative Assistant at Riverside Furniture in Fort Smith, Arkansas which she considered her family as well. Sharon Kay loved the Lord and was a member of the BOD Church in Roland. Sharon Kay passed away on May 27, 2021, at her home in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Survivors are:

husband: Dean of the home;

daughter: Deana Kidder of Rogers, AR;

1 son: Kendall Sampson of Muldrow, OK;

1 grandson: Kyle Sampson of Muldrow, OK;

1 sister: Linda Sue Rollins of Oklahoma City, OK;

2 brothers: Buck Laster, Jr. of Muldrow, OK and Don Carroll Laster of Muldrow, OK;

several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Janice Thompson; and one granddaughter, Chelsea Kidder.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital and The BOD Church.
