Funeral Service for Sharon Kay (Carroll) Lopez, 76, of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Bunch Cemetery in Bunch, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on July 26, 1946 in Paris, Arkansas to Violet Marie (Scroggins) Carroll and Billy Bevins Carroll and passed away on July 18, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a retired restaurant owner and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are daughter, Barbara Dodson and David of Cushing, OK; son, Bobby Ray of Poteau, OK; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Holderfield and Sue Akers, both of Wister, OK; three brothers, Johnny Carroll and Leonard Carroll, both of Poteau, OK and Larry Carroll of Van Buren, AR; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; companion, Mack Brewer; daughter, Lavanna (Ray) Elmore; son, James “Duncan” Ray, Jr.; two brothers, Cecil Carroll and Billy Carroll; and two sisters, Dorothy Thompson and Donna Timms.
Viewing will be 10 AM – 6 PM Saturday and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
