Funeral Service for Shelly Dawn Commingdeer-Smith, 53 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Czarnikow Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 10, 1967 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Mary Lois (Armstrong) Barnes and James Edward Smith and passed away on December 3, 2020 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Commingdeer-Smith was a store manager at Natural Meds in Sallisaw.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Mary Williams and Josh McCoy of Oklahoma City, OK;

mother: Mary Barnes and Dale of Sallisaw, OK;

2 sisters: Angela McPhail and Eric of Muldrow, OK and Kelly Cox of Gans, OK;

nieces: Lindsey Cox and Tim Wald of Gans, OK, Amber England of Roland, Ok and Kayla Williams of Van Buren, AR;

nephews: Justin Baker of Roland, OK and Robert McPhail of Charleston, AR;

great nieces: Kaelin Cox, Liberty Baker, Annaliese Williams and Ava Williams;

great nephews: Colton Cox, Cooper Goff and Cody McPhail;

numerous other relatives and friends whom she loved.

She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents: Willie and Eva Smith and Nova and Bud Armstrong and uncles: Dayton Smith, Leo Smith, Fred Smith and Billy Ray Smith.

Active Pallbearers will be Justin Baker, Eric McPhail, Robert McPhail, Braden Leedom, Joshua McCoy and Gene Williams.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Wald.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 pm Monday and 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Tuesday.
