Shilah Carrillo

Funeral service for Shilah Carrillo, 18 of Ft. Smith, Arkansas will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Bellefonte School Gymnasium in Bellefonte, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Cemetery in Bellefonte, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on March 16, 2004 in Ft. Smith, AR to Twana (Teehee) Garcia and Heriberto Carrillo and passed away on January 18, 2023 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Shilah earned her GED in 2021. She planned to start CNA classes in Feburary and continue on to become an LPN. She enjoyed attending church at Fellowship Baptist Church, playing basketball with friends and family, attending basketball games and spending time with her family, especially with her nieces and nephews. She loved the great times and hanging out with her Snap Chat group.

Survivors are parents, Twana and Marcos Garcia of the home and Heriberto Carrillo of Jerecuaro, Mexico; three sisters, Jacqulene Farmer and Blake of Spiro, OK, Brianna Carrillo and Quinton Nunez, and Maria Sevenstar, both of the home; one brother, Andrew Mathews and Samantha of Nicut community, OK; two step-brothers, Marcos Garcia Jr. and Brandon Sevenstar, both of Muldrow, OK; grandparents, Irene Taylor of Nicut community, OK, Maxine Mathews of Nicut community, OK and Clinton Teehee and Dawn of Stilwell, OK; great-great grandmother, Lorene Taylor of Nicut community, OK; nieces, Luna Sky and Remi Lyn; nephews, Taven, Ryatt, Rooster and Luke; special friend, Adrienne “Dri” Rogers; and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Phillip Mathews; great grandparent, Benn Lee Taylor and uncle, Kenneth Raney.

Active Pallbearers will be Andrew Mathews, Alexander Garcia, Jhovanni Garcia, Adrian Mancera, Cooper Neighbors and Keaton Neighbors.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dustin Taylor, Adam Soap, Marcos Garcia, Mark Taylor, Justin Taylor, Blake Farmer, Keith Mathews, Marcos Garcia Jr. and Greg Mathews.

Viewing will be Wednesday 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
