Funeral service for Shirley Ann Peaslee, 83 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on August 18, 1939 in Short community, Oklahoma to Edna Mary (Riddle) Vann and James Walker Vann and passed away on December 7, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Kenneth Azel Peaslee on December 22, 1962 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Shirley was a 1957 graduate of Muldrow High School. She was a seamstress in Fort Smith and a charter member of Short Baptist Church. Shirley loved flowers and working outside in her flower beds and yard, but especially loved her granddaughter and great-grandchildren

Survivors are husband of 60 years, Kenneth of the home; one son, Kevin Peaslee of Short community, OK; one granddaughter, Jessica Lowe of Sallisaw, OK; two great-grandchildren, Braxton and Ella; one sister-in-law, Robbie N. Vann of Muldrow, OK; one brother-in-law, M.L. Owens of Muldrow, OK; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Prine and Phyllis Owens and two brothers, Lynn and Lecho Vann.

Active Pallbearers will be Brett Vann, Lynn Vann, Kyle Henson, Rocky Woods Jr., Curt Gregory and Greg Prewett.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Danny Haydenrich.

Visitation will be 10 am – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
