Shirley Ann (Cowen) Taylor

Celebration of Life for Shirley Ann Taylor, 81, of Gore, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Webbers Falls Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Shirley Ann Cowen, Buie, Mann, Taylor who was known to most as Memah went to sleep on earth and woke in Heaven with Jesus on December 2, 2022, at age 81. She was born on Sept 3, 1941 to Carrie (Woods) Cowen and Elmer Cowen. She grew up in Council Hill and Checotah Oklahoma. She was currently a resident of Webbers Falls and a member of Webbers Falls Assembly of God Church. She was a retired Certified Nurses’ Assistant.

She is survived by: sister Nora Parsons, brother-in-law Danny Parsons; sister Lorene Burns and brother-in-law David Burns; daughter Darla Walker, son-in-law Sedric Lynn Walker, daughter Hellen Holeman, son-in-law Johnny Holeman, daughter Susan Brumbaugh, son Marion Warren (Rusty) Palmer, daughter-in-law Wendy Palmer, daughter Anna Toner, son-in-law Stephen Toner, son Mike Mann, step daughter Linda Barns, stepdaughter Pam Lane. Shirley was grandmother to 31 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: mother Carry Cowen, father Elmer Cowen, brother Donald Cowen, husband Michael Mann, daughter Tammy Buie, son Mica Jones, son-in-law Ron Brumbaugh, and son-in-law Mychael May.

Shirley loved Jesus and Christmas, so everyone is encouraged to enjoy the holidays immensely in her honor.
