Services for Shirley McCann, 82 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on April 8, 1936 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Myrtle Valentine Russell Carter and Russell Carter and passed away on November 16, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Jack C. McCann on August 31, 2001 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on February 5, 2017. She was a retired department manager and assistant manager at Walmart.

Survivors are:

2 daughters and 1 son in law: Kay Andrews of Sallisaw, OK and Lesia and Dewayne Walters of Sallisaw, OK

1 son and daughter in law: Robert and Molina Kuykendall of Sallisaw, OK

1 sister: Mary Bashears of Deloe, MS

1 brother: Marvin Carter of Sallisaw, OK

numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 sister: Wanda Cowett and 2 brothers: Tim and Dale Carter

Active Pallbearers will be Dewayne Walters, Dustin Walters, Jeremy Walters, Robert Kuykendall, Ty Henning and Paul Osburn.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday, 2 – 8 pm Sunday, 10 am – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Monday.
