Memorial Service for Sidney D. “Sonny” Church, 81, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Westside Church of Christ Fellowship Hall in Vian, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Sidney D. “Sonny” Church, 81, of Vian, Oklahoma was born on January 31, 1942 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Mary Lou (Hummingbird) Church and Sidney D. Church and passed away on March 7, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was married to Dortha Louise (Stafford) Church on October 10, 1963 in Okemah, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on August 30, 2008. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors are three sons, Sidney D. and Brenda of Gore, OK, Robert of Stilwell, OK and Sidney D. and Ericka of Norman, OK; three daughters, Sheila Johnson and Lawrence of Sallisaw, OK, Pamela Knight and Larry and Shawna Wilson and Blaine of Vian, OK; grandchildren, Michael Raue, Rusty Raue, Jared Johnson, Blake Johnson, Tyler and Tiffknee Wilson, Desiree and Daniel Skaggs, Justin Wilson, Quan Church, Toby Church, Zach Reidel, Kristen and Daven Loftin, Heather Patches, Sara and Matthew Owen, Lara and Steven Foshee, Cynthia and Clint DeRos, Heather Spears, Sarah Folsom and Jennifer Spears; 34 great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Church of Claremore, OK and Donald Church of Locust Grove, OK; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dortha; one son, James David Church; two brothers, Jack Church and Larry Joe Church; one sister, Patricia Ruth Hudson; and one daughter-in-law, Charity Kay Church.
Viewing will be 10 AM – 6 PM Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
