Funeral Service for Stephanie Ann Roberts-Thomas, 55, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on October 7, 1966 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Minerva Marie (Green) Roberts and Joseph Curly Roberts and passed away on August 20, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Mervin Thomas on October 7, 2013 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church. Stephanie was a caregiver for People, Inc. in Sallisaw for over 25 years. She was a member, pianist and song leader for Greater New Bethel Baptist Church. Stephanie was loved by so many. She was a sweet spirit who loved children and had a singing group called Daughters of Christ.

Survivors are:

husband, Mervin at the home;

step-son, Immanuel Thomas of Beaumont, TX;

mother, Evangelist Minerva Roberts of Sallisaw, OK;

3 brothers, Charles and Angie Roberts of Sallisaw, OK, Dennis Roberts of Tempe, AZ and Patrick and Paige Roberts of Chandler, AZ;

1 sister, Patsy Gibbs and Tommy of Sallisaw, OK;

5 nieces, Julia, Lyric, Cassie, Kalea and Alexis and her husband, Dewayne;

5 nephews, Joshua and his wife, Kieosha, Isaiah, David, Devin and Cleonis, Jr.;

1 great-niece, Indie;

3 great-nephews, Josh, Jr., Joseph and King;

and several other family members and friends.

She was preceded by her father, J.C. Roberts.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
