Tammie (Rhodes) Scarbrough

Funeral service for Tammie Scarbrough, 53 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

She was born on April 12, 1969 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Violet Mary Hubbard and James Willis Rhodes and passed away peacefully on August 29, 2022 at her home, surrounded by family and friends. She was married to Johnny Scarbrough on June 6, 1997 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Tammie fought a long and courageous battle against cancer, never wanting to be a burden to anyone. She stayed strong until her last breath. Tammie and her husband, Johnny were local business owners of Victory Lane RV and Motors in Muldrow and This Old House Antiques. She loved quilting and antiquing with Johnny. Tammie had a huge heart and soft spot for any kind of animal that would come along and always found it a good home.

Survivors are:

loving husband of 25 years, Johnny of the home;

1 son, Christopher Michael Scarbrough of Muldrow, OK;

mother, Violet Hubbard of Roland, OK;

1 sister, Alaina Rhodes;

1 brother, Kenny Rhodes;

mother-in-law, Becky Whitwell of Fort Smith, AR;

sister-in-law, Crystal Moore and Kenny of Muldrow, OK;

1 niece, Mackenzie;

3 very special young men, James Anderson, Marshall Morgan and BJ Price;

1 very special fur baby, Daisey and many, many more dear friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Rhodes; brother, Dusty Rhodes, paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Ruby Rhodes and maternal grandparents, Lola and Floyd “Skinny” Pendergrass – owners of Muldrow Five and Dime Store.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Logan Lininger, Quintin Lininger, Remmington Dean, James Anderson, Cole McCrary and Jim Ross.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow .

Johnny and Christopher would like to thank Hospice of the Cherokees for all their help and services, OU Stephens Cancer Center and all of the great friends and family who have been right there through this journey.
