Teresa Loretta Cossey

Memorial Service for Teresa Loretta Cossey, 80 of Gore, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 4, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. 

Teresa, a true gift from God, was born on November 4, 1943 in Palmdale, California to Amy Lorene (Shropshire) Wright and James Wright and was called home on September 21, 2024 in Gore, Oklahoma, with family all around her. She was married to Ronald Cossey on September 24, 1960 in Miami, Oklahoma, just three days short of 64 years. She was a homemaker and is now in the greatest of all places; with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and all her family and friends. She is happy and out of pain and care. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors are husband, Ronald of the home; two sons, David Cossey of Gore, OK and James Michael Cossey of Edmond, OK; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ron Cossey, Jr. and Jeffrey Scott Cossey; her mother and father; and her siblings, Jim, Phyllis and Lisa.

Cremation was under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
