Funeral Service for Terry Wayne “Cotton” Reed, 74 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on July 4, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana to Lucille M. and Robert C. Reed and passed away on December 10, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was married to Loretta Taylor Reed. Mr. Reed was a U.S. Army Veteran, a diesel mechanic, construction worker and concrete finisher. He loved horses and especially his wild mustang, Missy. His tractor, horses and especially his family were his love. He received a belt buckle from MBHA for barrell racing in 2016.

Survivors are:

wife: Loretta of the home;

1 daughter: LeEtta Beach of Sallisaw, OK;

2 sons: James Kelly Henning of Tulsa, OK and Jim Martin Henning of Tahlequah, OK;

6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren;

1 sister: Marlene Heater and John of Lakeville, IN;

3 brothers: William Guyverson of LaPaz, IN, Bradley Guyverson of Elkhart, IN and Jeffrey Joseph Guyverson of Pigeon Forge, TN;

He was preceded in death by his mother, and 2 brothers: Randy Allen Guyverson and Ronnie Lee Guyverson.

Active Pallbearers will be Dustin Glover, Preston Glover, Tyler Chapman and Shawn Beach.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Sunday and 10 am – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
