Private graveside service for Thelma Wonise (Gipson) Griffin, 92 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 2, 1930 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Neta Agnes (Ogdon) Gipson and Henry Gipson and passed away on May 7, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Herman “Clyde” Griffin on March 29, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2013. She was retired from the Space Division in Downey, California and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

1 daughter, Janet Denise Jones of Muldrow, OK;

1 son, Scott Devin Griffin of Torrence, CA;

2 grandchildren, Joy and Devin;

special cousin, Fannie Riggs;

and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Terri Lynn Terrell; her parents, Henry and Neta Gipson; and three sisters, Anna Dean Gipson, Joanne Gipson and Helen Bernice Miller.

Visitation will be Noon – 8 PM Friday, June 3rd at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow, OK.
