Theodore Ralph Wampach

Funeral Service for Theodore Ralph “Ted” Wampach, 83 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma led by his cherished brother-in-law, Daryl Crawford of Sallisaw. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 17, 1940 in Aurora, Illinois to Josephine Antoinette (Tarvid) York and Ralph Charles Wampach and passed away on February 7, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Ruth Anne (Kyle) Wampach on June 20, 1964. Mr. Wampach was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 46 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Salisaw.

Survivors are his wife of 59 1/2 years, Ruth Anne of the home; two daughters, Melinda Leigh Martin and Eddie of Sallisaw, OK and Edith Anne Singer of Clarmore, OK; five grandchildren, Kyle Andrew Martin-McGowan, John Douglas Singer, Matthew Alan Singer, David Loren Martin and Drew Alan Martin; five great-grandchildren, Makinly, Knox, Lux, Will and Jay; siblings, Margie Faires of Sugarland, TX, Gayle Longwell of Hondo, TX, Roger Wampach and Jeanette of Kaneville, IL, Jody York of Wills Point, TX and Peter York and Lydia of Dallas, TX; multiple nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister, Diana Drake.

Active Pallbearers will be his son-in-law, Eddie Martin; his grandsons, Kyle Martin-McGowan, J.D. Singer, Matthew Singer, David Martin, Drew Martin and his dear nephew, Paul Poindexter.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 2 – 4 pm.
