He was married to Shirley (Free) Laney on November 15, 1962 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was a Supervisor with Baldor Electric Company for over 40 years and was a member of Muldrow First Assembly of God Church. He was one of the greatest men of God, who left a legacy beyond measure. Everyone that had the privilege of knowing him loved him. He loved his family and led them all by example. He lived his life to the fullest and cherished his time spent with his family, this included being outdoors, riding horses, camping and watching grandkids and great-grandkis in all of their endeavors. He loved his church family and impacted many lives both in and out of church. His quick wit and dry sense of humor will be greatly missed, but most of all his guidance and Godly wisdom to us all.
