Funeral service for Tommy Dale Byrd, 69 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Funeral service for Tommy Dale Byrd, 69 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 3, 1949 in Nicut community, Oklahoma to Lillian (Dellis) Byrd and Watie S. Byrd and passed away on October 26, 2019 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Mr. Byrd was a parts planner and production scheduler at Baldor Electric, a Baptist and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a fluent Cherokee speaker. He attended Bellefonte Elementary School and was a Muldrow High School graduate.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Andrea Byrd of Roland, OK;

1 son: Jason Byrd of Muldrow, OK;

2 grandchildren: Amaris Turner and Cameron Byrd;

4 sisters: Sallie Byrd Sevenstar and Lee of Nicut, OK, Ginny Byrd Pitman and Pete of Tahlequah, OK, Debra Byrd of Nicut, OK and Tammy Byrd of Nicut, OK;

2 brothers: George Byrd and Wanda of Flute Springs, OK and Joe Byrd of Tahlequah, OK;

nieces and nephews: Sheila, LaNell, Joseph, Candice, Julia, Ja-Li-Si, Celia and Watie;

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Alpheus Byrd.

Active pallbearers will be James Vaughn, Jeremy Mabray, Tommy Ray Jones, Jody Barrow, Bob Anglen, Jerry Waters, Dennis Sullivan and Barnie Connelly.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Coleman, Michael Sevenstar, Franklin Sevenstar, Benny Nofire and Johnny Woodard.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 5 – 8 pm.
